Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a robbery at 5:04 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8, in the vicinity of Loretta Court and Solano Avenue. The victim was selling a gaming console and agreed to meet the suspect. The suspect tried paying for the gaming console with counterfeit currency. When that didn’t work, the suspect proceeded to punch the victim – and stole the gaming console. The case has been sent to the District Attorney’s office for review.

Tuesday, Jan. 5:
8:38 a.m. – A burglar or burglars hit a residence in the 600 block of Lobelia Court. The burglar(s) took more than $4,000 worth of tools and other miscellaneous items from an open garage.
Wednesday, Jan. 6:
4:54 p.m. – A residence in the 21000 block of Broadway was burglarized. The burglar(s) made off with cash and high-value items including jewelry and power tools.
Friday, Jan. 8:
3:05 p.m. – Deputies responded to a fight involving five people in the 100 block of Boyes Boulevard. One person was arrested on charges of drinking in public and resisting arrest.
Saturday, Jan. 9:
7:56 a.m. – An unknown suspect or suspects entered a barn in the 1900 block of Felder Road and stole $10,000 worth of goods. The case is under investigation.
11:04 a.m. – Sonoma officers responded to a domestic violence incident in the 500 block of Second Street West. The victim told the officers that the suspect had choked her on two different occasions. The suspect had already left the scene so a report was filed for the District Attorney recommending charges of domestic violence assault.
4:51 p.m. – A resident in the 200 block of West MacArthur reported that sometime overnight, someone entered a workshop and made off with an Apple Mac monitor valued at $2,500, a TV monitor worth $500 and stole $30 cash from a truck. There was no sign of forced entry.
Sunday, Jan. 10:
1:53 p.m. – A resident in the 700 block of Boyes Boulevard reported that someone had stolen the catalytic converter from their vehicle.
Monday, Jan. 11:
9:41 a.m. – Deputies were sent to a business in the 22000 block of Eighth Street East for a report of a grand theft. Unknown persons stole power tools and yard equipment.
Friday, Jan. 15:
9:26 a.m. – A resident in the 18000 block of 4th Avenue in Boyes Hot Springs reported that sometime overnight, someone stole the catalytic converter from their car. There is no suspect information.
